Best GPU for Valve Online FPS?

I currently have some kickass parts to play some HIGH FPS valve online fps, since I think I am going to get back into pro level (I also do some video encoding)...

Intel Core i3-2300
ASRock P67 Pro3
Team Elite 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3/1600
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio
G.Skill Phoenix Pro 60GB
4 x Western Digital Caviar Blue 320GB in RAID 5
LG GH22NS50
Cooler Master Silent Pro 600W
Cooler Master 690 II
Dell E198WFP

Then I am also going to be picking up the following items...

M-Audio AV30
Razer Morays
Zalman Zm-Mic1
Thermalright Silver Arrow / Some Low Cost Liquid Cooling Loop

But the REAL question is this... I have an Asus Radeon HD 5850 and I have found that I can sell it on this Chinese version of Ebay for the same price that I can buy a 6950 2GB for, so I think it would be stupid of me not to snap that deal up! Especially considering the fact that I can then unlock it to a 6970! But then I found out that I could buy a GTX 570 for only $30 more... I think that I would get better performance in Valve Online FPS games with a 6950 unlocked to a 6970 than a GTX 570, which costs me an extra $30 anyway... Plus the 6950 has an extra 1GB of VRAM over the GTX 570... So I think 6950 all the way! But what do you guys think?

Pretty much most mid-range videocards out there can play any games on the source engine. Source is not that crippling anymore since we have better hardware now. Once you get past a certain point in FPS you're not going to be able to tell the difference between 200 FPS or 300 FPS. But most games are fluid at 75 FPS. But if you can get something better by selling and buying something else then more power to yah. 5850 is powerful enough, I have 5870 and it never drops below 200 ever in most Source games. But I never bothered to go back to test TF2 for performance.

Yea I know... my 5850 never drops below 200FPS either, but this deal has popped up, where I can essentially get a 6950 for free...
