I'm just waiting for Asus's response, I will no doubt exchange my motherboard for a new fixed one, however not for a few months.

I'm not worried as I have the 4 sata 3 ports, I just cant wait 2-3 months for the new motherboards,so I'm living with my current PC.

I'm not going to go crazy and send my Motherboard and RMA it straight away, I need to know what Asus is planning to do and maybe offer the same solution Gigabyte has.
Can the exchange not just be done through the retailer you bought the board??
just a thought it will probably be easier and quicker

That is the actual reason, I'm trying to work around it, I bought it from a UK shop, delivered to Australia.

They offered to RMA it, however the wait is what annoys me, 3-4 weeks is long for me, that is what I get when I try to save a few dollars
