Resolution problem (black bars) with the new driver 266.58

Hello

I have this annoying problem that i don't know how to fix! i just build up my new computer with 3x GTX580.

Is there any way to get rid of those black lines over the sides of the screen?
i don't really care that much because i play most of my games on 1920x1080, but there is some old games i have to play with 1280x1024 or less, like Counter Strike 1.6 -- my old fav game ; )
and there is some benchmarks i have to test with 1280x1024 for example: 3DMark06.
BTW, it works fine with 3DMark Vantage 1280x1024 (5:4) there is no black bars in it! weird?

So..is there any way to fix this problem?
i read in some threads that it's a driver problem (260.99) and nvidia will fix it in the new drivers
http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=189076

But im using 266.58 right now and it's still the same problem!
please help.

Under nvidia control panel->display->adjust desktop size and position

Check what is set there. Sometimes after replacing a driver, it is set to "do not scale" which cause what you seem to have.

Set it to "Use Nvidia scaling" and it should be fine.
