SRH440 // Edifier S330D + Xonar DX - Where next?

Seeing as it is Chinese New Year soon, I'm going to have a bit of spare cash lying around. I don't really know which area I should be upgrading. I like my Shures, but I don't find them to be the most comfy for long duration listening. I've been to a local audio store and they've let me try various headphones driven several entry level amps, and the sound is quite different. Reading various threads it seems like getting a decent sound card that has an amp seems like a tempting option as well.

Usage habits - General music listening [ Lots of instrumentals, some ballads, some pop, a little bit of trance ] + gaming [ sc2 mainly ]
For budget, let's start with something in the ball park of 200-250 USD. This is flexible if something is better for less // more.

Thanks!

More headphones? Which Shure's do you have? I still want a Claro Halo XT but I own an Ultralite MK3 already. Check out the Claro Halo XT and the Auzentech Meridian, they're basically almost the same (same chip) thing except I think the Claro is a little bit better.

I would say subscribe to Pandora Premium but it's limited to USA only.

Currently using Shure SRH440 as stated in the title. Not really sure whether I should be upgrading to a higher end sound card with an amp, getting an external amp, or just changing headphones at this point cause all of them would be an upgrade.

Between the Claro Halo XT and Xonar ST, some people seem to prefer the Xonar. Is there a particular reason you would recommend the Claro Halo over it?
