This happens at any time during the day, I have reset my H70 with Arctic silver 5, MY idle temp with Real Temp is 60 deg c. Other members has reported the load is about what my idle is, where do I start again. Please unfry me!!

Make sure you got the seat right. The mounting system kinda sucks.

60 degree idle makes it sound like the pump isn't even running. That's ridiculous.I built an i3 rig last week and it idled at 25 with the stock intel cooler.

Make sure the pump is connected to a fan header without any speed throttling. The pump needs to run at 100% at all times.

85deg on an h70 at 1.2V just doesnt sound right. I'm pumping 1.4v into my 1055t and I'm loading at 50ish (yes I know the architecture is completely different). Re seat your H70. make sure both the copper base and the cpu are completely clean before applying more paste. Tighten the screws to the max!!! Also make sure the tubes arent bending too much. Also check your motherboard isnt running the pump at under 1400rpm. This can happen if you have smart fan features enabled in your BIOS.

Yes, arctic silver is fine to use with the H70.

You really shouldn't be going above 70C load with the overclock you have right now. Is there any way you could plug the pump header into the power supply directly?
