This is the ram i'm talking about. Let's say i bought 3 of these for a whooping 12GB triple channel setup. How much overclock can i expect?

I see that that're working at a fairly low voltage, so i'm assuming that there's some potential there.

Can i run these 1600Mhz CL8. That's all i'm asking.

Literally no overclock with 12GB usually.Better off getting a faster 6GB set-unless you do rendering, video editing etc. It's all about the IMC and what it can tolerate.

Allright man. I'm looking for a faster 3x2GB kit.

Allrighty, i found 3X2GB Kingston Hypers T1 2000 CL9 kit

http://www.teknobiyotik.com/donanim/ram-bellek/kingston-hyperx-t1-sogutuculu-6gb-ddr3-2000mhz-cl9-triple-kit-3x2gb.html

I'm gonna have to bump QPI/VTT to at least 1.45 to make them work at 2000.

Im running 12GB at 1333 6-7-6-18.. this rig is used for data analysis and forensic recovery though..so amount is more important for the type of testing it performs. I can tell you that so far, I have been unable to get the RAM to 1800mhz, but 1600 will run with relaxed timings and a bit more IMCv.

*sector 7's btw.. upgraded from 3x2 Dom's
