Here in South Africa parts are extremely over priced.
here are some examples.
Gigabyte GTX460 768MB = $262
EVGA 768-P3-1362-ER SuperClocked GeForce GTX460 =$265
Corsair DDR3-1333 4GB (2x2GB) = $94
Corsair TX650W Power Supply - 650W = $153
Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4 = $314

Maybe i should just wait until next month and spend $1000 - $1800
oh wow those prices are horrible x_X
hmmm i think Asus P67 Pro mobo should cost less then UD4 , for PSU take Seasonic 620w (not modular) should cost around 50$ less then tx 650 , for video card try find a cheap 6850 (it needs only 1 PCI-E connector) so u can crossfire them later with ur seasonic 620w PSU , but if u go with tx 650 the EVGA superclocked gtx 460 for 265 is much better then gigabyte one .

Have I told you how much I dislike South Africa ATM lol.

Think I will go for the TX PSU with GTX460, Then I can do some OC if needed.

Again thanks so much for all your help. If you didn't help me I would have ended up shooting myself in the foot.

If you haven't already bought this yet, go with a: Samsung F3 1TB

They are amazingly fast!!!

Also, if you don't plan on doing SLI (2+ graphics card) try getting a UD3P instead of a UD4, should be a bit cheaper and save you monies.

Thanks for the help.
BUT unfortunately I will have to wait until intel fixes the problem with their chipset.
Below is the email I got from my supplier.

Intel 6 Series Chipset Recall

Over the past few hours we have seen reports of Intel recalling the 6 series chipsets and we have also had some customers worried about the products that they have purchased already. In order to allay any speculations and fear and as part of our "Service" to our customers, Rectron would like to confirm the problems that have taken place over the last 24 hours over news regarding the Intel 6 series based chipset Gigabyte motherboards. We have put together the following report to explain the problem and to provide various solutions to our customers.

Problem:

Customers may complain about data loss on PC configurations using the Intel 6 series based motherboards which may become apparent over time.

Explanation of the problem

Intel has confirmed that this problem occurs on Ports 2-5 on the Intel 6 series Based motherboards with the SATA 3.0 Gbps controller. Ports 0 and 1 which are part of the SATA 6.0 Gbps controller are not affected by this problem.

In some cases, the SATA 3.0 Gbps ports within the chipsets may degrade over time, potentially impacting the performance or functionality of SATA-linked devices. In some cases the hard disk drives and DVD-drives may not be visible on boot up or in Windows. This also affects boards that have e-SATA as this is also connected to one of the SATA 3.0 Gbps ports.

Solution

Due to the fact that the next generation Intel Core i7/i5 CPU is socket 1155 and will only work with the Intel 6 series based motherboards we are providing a few different solutions to meet the needs of customers:

1. Customers who do not feel comfortable with this issue and wish to have peace of mind with this solution that they provide to their customers, are welcome to bring the motherboard back. They can then buy another system based on the Intel 5 series motherboards with a Socket 1156 CPU.

2. Customers not comfortable with using these systems are also welcome to credit the boards and then purchase a new board using this credit when stock without this problem becomes available.

3. Customers that want to still make use of latest Intel 6 series solution, will able to but will be limited to only using ports 0 and 1 with one ODD and one HDD. They will also not be able to use the e-SATA port on boards that support this feature but will be able to connect the external HDD's to USB. If customers want to use more than 1 HDD, then they would need to use a third part PCI/PCI-e SATA 3.0 add on card. Customers are more than welcome to continue using these boards until we receive the new boards when stock without this problem becomes available at which time they will be eligible to receive free exchange.
