In Canada we get Cost + 5%

Some thing shave insane markups, but then in our store there's not a single TV we don't loose money on (like 42"+)

Yeah, discount is the same across all of BB; it's cost + 5% here as well. I just didn't think that sub would be marked up three-fold...

For $180 that sub is a GREAT deal. I have heard great things about it and have seen it recommended many of times on OCN.

Well thats good to hear! I love my Klipsch Promedais, so I'm hoping that it will be as good, if not better than these.

I have that sub in my bedroom system for watching movies and it's excellent for that sized room. The 12" isn't too slow, so it's decent for music as well. I'm very happy with it and this is coming from someone that has subs costing 10 times as much downstairs. If it was junk, I'd tell you.

Well, It's going to mostly be used for music. Does it hit hard? I have party's quite a bit, so I want to be able to playt lots of pop/hiphop/house/dubstep etc.

the 10" woofers on the towers are good, but they cut off way to high.

It sounds fantastic in my bedroom. I watch enough Blu-ray in my room that I would upgrade it if I wasn't 100% satisfied and I've owned it for 2 years. As with all setups, room placement can make a lot of difference. If you're not happy with it, make sure you move it around to find the best placement for it. It's a quality sub for a small to medium sized room. My master bedroom is on the bigger side and it's more than enough for that room.

It'll spend most of it's time in my bedroom, which is like.. 15*9

I can't wait to get it now.

So.. On my reciver I have a sub out connector. I herd all I need to do is run a single RCA to the right channel of the sub? Would I get better performance if I split it and ran it into both R and L?
