A best GPU cooling for EVGA GTX 570 SC? - Page 2

I also had mine up around 900 core and saw 70-75C with the fan about 70%. I'd leave it stock and set a fan profile in Afterburner or NVControl Panel etc to go up 1% per degree C increase. Otherwise get underwater, I slapped on an EK block and love it, the VRM area even has a few water channels for extra performance, I see load temps of about 45C in the same loop with my loaded 8800GTS 512 and CPU@ 3.8.

If you really have your heart set on aftermarket air, the Arctic Cooling solution seems to be the popluar one, but honestly I'd save your money for water haha.

Edit: Maxing the GPU fan won't increase the wattage much. Not enough to be noticeable. (Max draw for the fan might be ~5w tops)

No enough money to upgrade to a water cooling rig

Don't worry about it... It won't consume that much power from the PSU. BTW you might wanna consider getting the latest version of EVGA Precision and EVGA ELEET or as someone said earlier get MSI Afterburner and start OCing it

PS: I forgot EVGA OC scanner (Looking For link ATM)
