Need a HD for my PS3 - HELP

I have decided 60GB is too small of a HD for my PS3. Thus I am looking to get a larger HD. From what I have seen there is very minor or no difference in putting in a typically fast drive (including SSD).

Thus my parameters are this:

1) Must be a quiet drive.
2) Must be quality.
3) Looking for 250GB or more.
4) I have my PS3 on it's side (60GB version), so it has to be able to handle that.

Saw this HD on Newegg's latest e-blast special. It is a Samsung Notebook drive for $39 after a $10 promo code EMCKHKJ29. Do you think this fits the bill? Is there a better HD for $40 or around that price that meets my parameters? Thanks.

You wont really find anything cheap that's going to contain lots of hard drive space for around $40. lol

I don't know what you are talking about esp. since I linked a 320GB HD for $40 (standard is $49 on the egg). I am not looking for some huge drive. Just around 250GB or more. Besides, $50 -$55 for a 500GB is something that I have seen every other week on Newegg given you can find a regular priced drive at $59.

Sorry, but if you don't have an educated answer, and don't know what you are talking about, then don't post.

No point in putting in an SSD, the blu ray drive in the PS3 is the bottleneck as far as speed goes. I put in a 7200rpm 500gig WD scorpio black drive a few months ago. The system seems to run faster, for stuff that's installed on the drive, but installing stuff from the blu-ray drive isn't that much faster. The drive cost me about $60 after taxes and shipping.
