Certainly will. I'm expecting it to feel as good or better than the cheaper Logi M510 since I have fairly wide palms and long fingers. Wish there was a place nearby that I could have actually tested it out beforehand, as far as the feel in hand goes. My younger bro has the Rat7, and while I think it's the meanest mouse I've ever seen, but no matter how I adjusted it to my hands, it just didn't feel.....good. Plus, I like the thought of 13 customizable buttons!!! While I usually play FPS games, I do like my RTS games as well, so they'll come in handy I'm certain.

But it's only one battery, not like most wireless mice these days which have 2 and can last for a week or more without replacing. But, I think I've read that the mouse is heavy nevertheless. I don't think I'll mind that at all though.

This mouse brings a tear to my eyes, literally. I can't even call this a mouse...it's more like an African giant pouch rat. It fits my hand........it actually fits my hand. The side of my palm actually doesn't drag on the surface. It's like....this was made for me....

I haven't really indulged myself into the settings quite yet....it seems rather complicated. But, boy am I so happy about the weight, look, and feel. The weight of it isn't as heavy as I thought it would be. In fact, it might be a touch heavier than my wireless M510, but it's balanced weight, whereas the M510 has all the weight at the battery, which is at the butt end like wireless mice normally are.

Any way, I'll report back in regards to functionality and use.

Time to break this puppy in!

Good choice

I bought my G700 last week!
And now me and my games are connected by 1ms
And when I swing round in game to aim, it's so much more predictable than with my old MX1000!

I also like the way you can set the different settings for the dpi steps (adjustable in game). So when I go from one game to another, I can fine tune to that game I'm using 600dpi-1000dpi in 5 steps

In another post someone asked how big the G700 was!
So here's the picture I posted to show

Something funny happens when you attempt to draw a straight line from left to right.

Try it.

Oh, I don't mean angle snapping.

I received mine last week and was just browsing around for user experiences - and I happen to come upon that a post that claims unless you're holding the moues at an exact angle, drawing a straight line will result in an upward slope.

It seems the only method to reproducing this issue is to move the mouse at a fast pace, such as not focusing on drawing a straight line.

I just went _____________ quick not trying and i think it worked sweet

Maybe I do hold the mouse at the right angle

So they might not be so perfect then after all! But it's still the best mouse I've played with

It hasn't bothered me one bit but thought I'd share, anyways, it indeed is a magnificent mouse, definitely one of my most satisfying purchases in a while.

And the scroll wheel. Oh the scroll wheel.

Yes, I noticed that too. When I was testing out the mouse yesterday I couldn't help but to realize that my pointer kept angling up dramatically to the right even though I was simply trying to go straight across from a linear standpoint.

Noticing the position of the scroll wheel, I was holding it a slight angle that worsened the further I slid the mouse from me. I had to look at the position of my hand to figure out that even though the contour of the mouse is naturally fitting to my hand, the (G7,G5) forward buttons positioned a bit of distance from the already long backside of the mouse causing me to angle the mouse so that I could comfortably place my thumb directly over/under those buttons instead of just the tip of my thumb. For me, this only occurs using a palm grip and took a mental reminder to hold my hand a specific way to avoid this. Over came this in less than an hours time of use...now everything feels natural.

edit: And just FYI, New egg has it up on the 48hour special with a better price and rebate than I'll be getting. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826104377
