ASUS mob help?

Thread Starter
I have an ASUS P5Q PRO TURBO and whenever it boots up it always says detecting Drives:No drives found.
But my friend who has almost the same exact drive has both of his show up.
I have 2x WD640AAHLS in RAID 0
He has 2x WD750's in RAID 0
But RIGHT after the screen that says no drives found it shows both drives in my RAID array, and both drives show up in the BIOS, any way to fix this. Its not exactly mission critical but i would like it if i could have my computer work as it should.

Did you create a array on the raid config? I do believe it is ctrl + L to setup the raid drives. If those drives was in raid, you might be able to plug them in and just keep going. Done it on a few boards of mine like that. As long as it is the same controller chipset.

My RAID array has been setup for at least a year now, thats not the problem. The problem is that when the mobo goes to detect the drives it says no drives found, but on the next step in the POST it shows both of them and also shows both of them in the BIOS.
