need help! low PPD with i7 875K - Page 3

Thread Starter
2 months ago i tested it with prime, was all stable and cool (i think it was 4 or 5 hours)
my gpu and cpu are folding, temps are 67C-64C-62C-64C (folding for days now, non-stop)
with HT on the temps are higher

i already have some new radiators and some new cooling stuff, going to put it in when my new graphic card arrives

Could be an unstable overclock. 4 or 5 hours isn't enough, I've had a test fail at 8 hours. Also, yes, HT makes more heat, but your processor is doing twice as much work. It's also kinda what you paid for.

17days 6hours 21minutes 53seconds <<< thats my best uptime with this system
and i've been doing lots of things
so yeah, its a stable clock, no doubt about that

You have been doing things. But 'things' aren't a stability test. I had a 20k/day drop on my 970 because it wasn't stable. It wasn't crashing, it never bluescreened when folding, but when I fired up prime, it went 8 hours before it failed. Do a real stress test.

Answer the list I gave you in order and then please shut down and do a FULL stress test if you want us to try and help you. If your happy with the ppd your getting then you dont have too but I will say without a doubt you will get more ppd and more FPS if you do what we are saying. Leave on HT and start over. You will be glad you did!!!
