560 Twin Frozr OR 560 DirectCU

Ive seen the reviews and the msi model actually looks like its cooler than the asus model, any other opinions? im looking more for idle temps as im not really gaming 24/7

twin frozr advertises 20c cooler than stock.....and they were right as Youtube benchmark videos showed.

But... but you're not allowed to get rid of your 460

All I can say is that, at stock clocks, my original DirectCU card idles at below 20C. That's below ambient. The DirectCU II cooler looks like it should actually be better.

If you ask me, all Twin Frozr II cards are also butt ugly.

^ this any CU core graphics card cooler by asus is amazingly much cooler than most other solutions.

I had very unpleasant experience with DirectCU GTX 460s, so my vote is for TwinFrozr also.

here are my Twin Frozr temps after 15 minutes of DX11 Kombustor max settings

1000/2000/22000 @ 1.1v = 80C, max FPS 160
880/1760/2100 @ 9.5v = 65C, max FPS 147

ambient = 23C

i broke my beasty 460, over-overclocked it
artifacts like F* and glitches out and shuts down my system. I think i burnt out the vram maybe?

What voltage did you go up to? Or were you just running the RAM really high?

RMA and tell them you don't even know what overclocking is?
