ok wait i just looked at the diagram that CL posted. by that first mod point there is suppost to be a trace connecting the end of all those resistors correct? i brok that trace when the mod point came off.

could i just bridge some solder over the 2 in the middle?

ok i fixed a LARGE part of my stability issue. i made a jumper wire that jumped over the old mod point that i ripped off and soldered to the resistors and either side. thx to the layout that CL posted i saw that there was a trace that was supposed to run across those reisistors to the right. when i tore that point off it broke the trace. now i need to find out what the solder point did and were it went so i can run a jumper wire. im close to the original clocks i was running b4 the cap mod. Does anyone have a full schematic of a gtx275. if i cant get the clocks up i may just buy a 580 i just kinda dont want to drop that kinda $$$ ATM but crysis 2 is right around the corner. Pizzaman if you could use your old dead card and ohm out that solder point to find were it went to i would be extreamly grateful.

Bahahahhahahaha. I feel your pain pain pizzaman. "hey honey what did you do the blah blah blah" "oh you mean the green thingy with all the thingys poking off of it" "yea that one" "which one". Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Lol. I have looked at the voltage chip schem, best guess is that old mod point went to the pre MOSFET but that dosent make sense for a mod point. I currently have it at 800/1800 at 1.33 load. I guess that's prett good but it's just driving me nuts that icant get it back to were it was. Wha was your shaders and voltage set at to get a 900 core CL?

volts set at 1.26v idle and shaders at ~1756mhz. Here is a pic of max clocks on stock volts after capping.

Ok guys I'm mad confused. CL3P20 or anyone on the East Coast preferably, would any of you be willing to cap mod and volt mod my GPU for me??? Something I could safely get higher clocks on air with?

also, what would be the result of not modding anything on the card but penciling in the lower resistor here?

On air, you'd prbly benefit from OCP mod more then vGPU. My 260 on this PCB was tripping OCP with stock voltage.
