Help OC 950 + Gigabyte x58 UD7 + Mushkin Ridgeback 998826

Hi,

I'm relatively new to Ocing and I have done some overclocking my motherboard but keep getting BSOD after around a 1 hour or so, need so help on adjusting the below to make it work or if some could suggest my better settings to try please, it would be really appreciated.

BSOD 0x000000124 means QPI/Vtt is not enough, or too much. Generally not enough.

Try these and see how you get along. AFTER you load optimized defaults FIRST, then save/apply/reboot BACK TO BIOS. Once in the BIOS again set your SATA/Disk settings all again, then proceed to make the changes you need in MIT Section.

I made this for 1700+ memory, if you would like suggestions on 13xx as you had posted let me know.

Hi lsdmeasap,

i have tried you setting below (both) and the PC just does not boot up and goes back into default settings, is there anything i can change around to make it work?

my overclock I posted above seems to work now i have increased the voltage to QPI/Vtt, but would like to try your settings provided.

I tried the lower memory timing 6,8,6,20 1T @ 1780 but just reset to the defaults settings?

Yes, 6-8-6 @ 1700+ isn't going to work easily, it would take a lot of volts and may or may not even be possible.

I could give you even 4Ghz settings with 1600Mhz @ 6-8-6 if you want, if so let me know.

is there any way i can backup the settings to external usb stick? also what bios version are you running?
