Save up and watch the deals for something like Tigerdirect just had on the GTX 460 for $90. http://www.overclock.net/online-deal...8mb-90-ar.html Make it the first step towards a new rig. Don't worry about saving up gobs of money for a whole new rig. Just do it one piece at a time. Also watch Newegg open box deals. Half the GPU's I have I've bought open box and have always been pleased. It gets updated with a bunch of new GPU's every couple of days. The best deals go quick. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ame=Open%20Box

A good deal on a GT240 might be just as good if not better option than a 9800GT. Always lots of deals on them. The newer GTS 450 could be something to keep an eye on also. I've seen some good open box deals on it.
Okay thanks, i will keep an eye out for some deals...

Yea, the 9800 GT is $100-$120 new, and the 4670 is $60-$70 new.

What denomination?

And yes, I am a Christian
HD4670 will not max BC2 (you can't say it is maxing a game if you have AA or AF disabled). I played BC2 on my old HD4670 at 1280x1024, and it was far from maxing it--or rather, I should say, you might be able to max the settings, but it will be like a slide show when you are trying to play.

And Thank the Lord!
Google will provide that answer for you. But the HD4670 is significantly slower than a 9800GT--so if it's not significantly cheaper (i.e. 50%), you're better off going with the 9800GT (or similar GT240, etc.).

Okay, yeah because i do want to play at max if not high settings on BC2 so ima look for the 9800. Is any brand of it better than others? Because when i was looking there were like ten different looking 9800's?

Have no clue what it is, but will definitely give it a try.

Does anyone know about the render ahead limit though?

No AA, no AS =/= highest settings. Besides, what's your laptop display's resolution?
