There is no way that your mobile 4670 was maxing BC2 at 1920x1200 with playable framerates. The HD4670 can't even run COD4 at 1920x1200 at beyond 33fps average, let alone BC2.

If you are running BC2 at 1920x1200, it is most definitely not maxed, or anywhere near max settings.

1366x768 shouldn't be a huge problem for the HD4670, but you will still probably take a hit in performance when using AA/AF
And he said he wasnt using any aa/as

That was about 10 min of game play

I believe I was averaging 25 - 30ish on the 1980x1200. I got a friend who has a desktop with a Radeon HD 4670 and he has a 1920x1080 monitor, I'll run Fraps on it tonight.

Listen, if you want to cheat, do it properly. You posted the time and then claim that it was 10 minutes of gameplay.

1 ms = 1/1000 of a second
This mean there's 1000 ms on a second and you ran your bench for 10000 ms AKA 10 seconds.

And even though you actually did average 50 FPS for those 10 seconds, it is obviously not maxed and it's not even max settings without AA/AF @ 1366x768.

I know for a fact that an 8800 GT pulls 42 FPS @ 1680x1050, DX 10, all settings on high, HBAO off, AA 0x, and AF 0x.
It pulls ~48 FPS at the same settings but @ 1024x768, so it's not because of the resolution that my desktop 8800 GT apparently is slower than your mobile HD 4670.

I was doing an "article" on BC2 performance, testing with my 8800 GT and my HD 5850 and I have all the numbers and charts on my HDD. Sadly, I never finished it, so the CPU testing part's missing some numbers, but my GPU benches were completed.

okay... i did mess around with my settings in my documents folder set the render ahead to 5, everything else to off or low and am on 1280x1024 i am now getting 27fps avg 45max and 15 minimum so not bad, its better, but looks ugly. So for now i can deal with it until i get a new gpu, i will keep an eye out for a new/used 9800 that has good deal on it.

If you can prove that you can get 50 FPS @ all high settings, no AA, AF or HBAO on a mobile HD 4670 (or a normal HD 4670 as they seem to be similar) in normal gameplay (no looking at the ground) then I'll rep you and you'll be an hero. And I'm not talking some crappy fraps bench, which anyone can do without proving that they actually used the settings they claim to have used. I want a video (like from a camera) that shows the settings and then the bench being run.

Read it dude, it even says there were only 540 frames total. 540 frames - roughly ten seconds = 54 FPS. (51 in this case)

This. 540 frames over 10 minutes would literally equal a slide show.

I hate when people like you, Cloud, cheat and troll and when people catch you in the act, you pretend that you never did it and that "you don't want to prove your claims" or some other stupid thing.

Come on, he probably did not do it on purpose, fraps is automatically set up to only go for 10 seconds so he probably thought it was still going, i did this one time and had the same response your giving him. Idk if you can, but you have to set the bench to go for 600 seconds for a ten minute test.

I hadn't even considered it, but he's still making a fool of himself. I really don't think 50 FPS @ high settings is possible on an HD 4670.

You can set it to 600 secs, but I'd recommend 5 minutes. 10 minutes is a really long time and you'd need to be in the game from the start to finish benching before the round ends.

The desktop 8800 GT is about 50% faster than the desktop 4670 in BC2 according to Tom's HW charts. That's with @ 1920x1080, high settings, no AA and AF and since the FPS is so low on both cards, I believe they turned HBAO on. But the 8800 GT will still be significantly faster when HBAO is turned off, so my point still stands. If I can only do 48 FPS with an 8800 GT @ high settings, no HBAO, no AA, no AF @ 1024x768, then he can't get 50 FPS on the HD 4670 at the same settings.
