I've got that Asus board and I love it. It's really pretty sweet.

In fact, I think I have that monitor too! (P.S. I am a big fan of Asus--they make awesome stuff).

Nice SSD. That's an excellent deal. I bought my Kingston V-Series (which is slower, for more than that!)

Excellent choice in heatsink. The 212+ is an awesome bang-for-your-buck.

Good choice in the BE processor.

Your graphics card makes me drool.

+1 On the fact that you forgot the RAM.

If I could give one critique it'd be this: If you can, pony up and get a 890FX chipset. If you ever want to crossfire that 6950, you *might* be bottlenecked just a tad given the fact that the 890GX has 8x/8x PCI-e lanes (as opposed to x16/x16).

doh.gifdoh.gifdoh.gifdoh.gif cant believe i forgot the ram I thought i had it in there I was planning on using

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428

But seeing how this computer is going to be used only for gaming should I just bump down and use 4GB? also I want to overclock. Should I get 1055T instead? Also for the 890FX chipset which would you suggest I was looking at that earlier and actually had this one selected.

Sweet deals! thumb.gif just a few quirks to save some cash:
x6 1090T + M4A89GTDPRO/USB3 is available in a combo deal. save $25

The 212+ is a Ripoff at Newegg counting shipping. I can get mine for $20 which is half price, free shipping or no shipping (local pickup), in Canada. Closest price to Canada for Hyper 212+ is on buy.com for $28 shipped.

The same 6950 is cheaper on TigerDirect ($290, $280 AR)

The XFX PSU is cheaper on TigerDirect (note: this is a slightly different variant, just has a green fan). $100, $70 AR. Free shipping.

You're completely missing RAM! For such a high end build 2x2GB Ripjaws DDR3-1600 CL7-8-7 ($65) look like a good choice.

For a lower $8.75 price, [ame="http://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-COOLING-MX-2-Thermal-Compound/dp/B000WVM0PU/"]Arctic Cooling MX-2[/ame] will outperform Arctic Silver 5. AS5 is old, you really shouldn't ever be buying it new anymore.

The XFX is made by seasonic. It is probably one of the best 650w PSUs you can buy. Certainly better than the two you recommended,

EDIT: Hyper 212+ $28 free ship:

Yup, 4 GB should be fine, has served me perfectly in all my gaming. The 1090T isn't to much pricier than the 1055T so i would just stay with it for the .4 ghz!

Yea, for some reason it wont let me add the combo to the wish list. Was trying earlier. Also should I invest in one of those static wrist straps? I want to make sure nothing goes wrong on my end when i go to build this. And I will be sure to add some ram into the build asap 4GB it is.
