When your card hits the tdp limit it will throttle. You can tell when the card suddenly starts slowing down for what seems like no good reason. If this happens then you need to up the limit.

This is at 1920*1080. Also with an overclock of 1000/1400 @ 1.3 according to MSi:AB. I know that's kind of stretching it with everything to the max. My cpu isn't oc'd I wanted to get the video card stable to see if it could rock it at those clocks. I'll post tomorrow with my cpu oc'd to 3.8!

edit: Almost forgot running latest ATI drivers as well. 11.2's!

Can I play? 1000/1450 @ 1.295V

Seems to me it has no problems at 80-90C for 800-880MHz, but needs < 65C or so for high 900's and low 1000s.

11.2 lower my fps by 5-7. Try 11.1a Jan 26 release. This give me the smoothest game play with better minimum and average fps.

Ok sounds good, but I don't mean to sound like a complete idiot... but last time I messed with the drivers was on my old X1800XT! Back then we had to use crapcleaner or something like that. What would you recommend to wipe out all of the driver files? Or can I just install new ones and it will overwrite the ones I don't want? Sorry for being a newb

Try to run some benchmarks like Crysis and/or Metro 2033.

I used Crysis: Warhead for stability testing before running 3DMark. It was averaging over 70 FPS at 1920x1080 + Enthusiast + 4xAA on frost demo.

Sorry, I don't have Metro 2033 yet.

Naw don't install the new driver over the old one. Uninstall the driver then go to safe mode. In safe mode use "drive sweeper" and clean more ATI files. Reboot normally and install the new driver. This method work best for me but there are several ways of doing so.
