Need references on sli configs

I have a GTS 250 1GB already. The new board I'm going to be getting supports SLI. I have 2 XFX 9600 GSO 768 MB cards I could use in SLI. So what I'm looking for is benchmarks on the 9600 gso's to compare, so I can decide if I should SLI. I'm not sure if it will be beneficial or not, or if I would even see a difference.

I'm not trying to be lazy, I've been looking for the last 20 minutes and haven't really found anything.

so are you goign to get new mobo regardless of your decisions about going SLI? if that's the case, why don't you experiment yourself? since you already have 2 9600 gso and you'll be getting new mobo.

The GSO's are pretty rare imo, but SLI would almost always bring a benefit. The new drivers are much better than the old ones.

I have a suggestion... Sell the 9600's, with that cash, buy another GTS 250... Bam! You've got yourself something sweet !

No, seriously, two 250's would be enough umph to max out Crysis (or at least reasonably , 1080P, with no AA on), and by selling the two 9600's, it wouldn't be like you'd lose any, or at least much money for the upgrade

Have fun,

Nice idea, however if I use the 9600 gso's in SLI, the gts 250 would be in my wife's computer. Initially, i had a 9600 gso in my computer, and upgraded to gts 250. I still have the one in box, the 2nd in my wife's comp. If I SLI, then I use both of them, and then she gets the 250. If I just use my 250, then I could sell my old MOBO, CPU, some ram, and the 9600 gso. Also, my PSU wouldn't support gts 250's in SLI I'm looking into new ones, but it's also a matter of funding. My current psu would barely support the 9600's in sli (recommended 36 A on 12 v rail, my psu 34 A :S)

With the money from the sale of the mobo cpu and ram, i could probably get a 2nd video card or something, so we'll see. But either way, i'm getting a new motherboard and ram.

Yes, it's a benefit, but would it outshine my current single gts 250? That's my quandry. Do I want to drop a single better card, for 2 lesser cards?
