I dont like Metro 2033, only game to make my gtx 470 look like a complete joke - Page 2

Just to let you know, you really don't need to have everything on high for the good experience of the game, because High settings (And even lower) look almost exactly the same, you won't even notice the difference. Also, turn of Depth of Field.

The only single card that can get nice FPS on that game is a GTX 580 at MAX OC.

I believe the biggest setting that made an impact is DOF. Turn it off and you'll fps will skyrocket

Grab another 470 and you're good.
I'm going to need a amd motherboard capable of running two graphics cards at once on my phenom. Do you know of one at a fair price? Can two graphics card only run on intel or do they make motherboards for amd that allow me to run two graphics cards?

AMD boards can't run SLI. You can get the older nForce boards for AMD but they are horrible. Only thing you can do is buy AMD boards and run Crossfire or rely on SLI hack (hit or a miss).

I've never even got far in that game because I don't like how it runs on my computer. My graphics card is what like about a year old and that game chews up and spits out my graphics card like its a cruddy old card.
How can you "Max" out crysis ? with a 470 and a phenom 2 ? run crysis benchmark at the highest possible settings and post ur results plz . 1 470 is not going to cut it in metro on the highest settings , nor in crysis .. my flashed 6950 and i7 i cant even max out crysis maybe get 30-45 fps if that .. i wish and u wish .

since ur mobo cant sli , u need something more beefy if u play metro , gtx 570/580 maybe ..

I've ran Crysis maxed out with AA entirely up. Where's this benchmark you want me to test?

SLI hack works almost all the time and the results are almost exactly the same as a board that is supported well anyway at 850 core i get average os 21.18 and high of 44.33 and a low of 5.45 at 1080p everything maxed and and a GT 240 as physX

google it you must download it i believe

metro 2033 ran smooth under dx11 maxed out on my asus eah5770 cucore at stock settings and it also runs smooth on my nvidia 9500GT dx10 maxed settings with an over clock of 750mhz from 550mhz. both cards run at 1440x900 resolution.
