Thank you good sir.
Well I just reloaded Metro, had some stupid PhysX glitch.
At any rate, @ 1080p, DX10 with everything on very high, AAA, I guesstimate that I was getting ~60FPS average. I'll have to get fraps, seems as though MSI's afterburner isn't liking Win7 too much, It wasn't showing my FPS. But I could tell from screen tearing that I was exceeding 60FPS a lot (only time I ever see it).
Oddly enough, only on the cut scenes was I getting what looked like frame rate loss.
But to address your earlier gripes about the game.
1) The gas mask does get annoying, for sure, but it's going to tie into #2.
2)Yes the little generator is annoying too, but, --I believe-- it's to add to the "realism" of post-apocalyptic Moscow. I could totally see that happening.
3) The guns seem kinda sluggish, but not too horrible. Play with your sensitivity settings, you might find it more appealing.
4) The swarming sucks, but they're easy enough to kill.
What gets me the most though, motion blur.
I effin hate it, I wish I could turn it off.

Are stock clocks. Most games the sli is right behind the 5970.
At most resolutions aside from the 2560 which requires huge amounts of VRAM (and I bet the palit 2gb ones would be a better comparison for this) the 460 sli kicks everythings ass, aside from the 470sli.
As shown in my above articles I've proven my point. I'm not smoking anything. @1920x1080 my sli of 875/1660/1000 hands down crushes a 5970 on any game. Bold claim, but from above evidence it shouldn't be too hard to fathom. And again note in my original post I was referring to MY 460 SLI. not stock 675. As shown by the tweaktown reviews, even the 460 @ 830 core is better. I rest my case. It is up to you to provide evidence for a rebuttal.
What you've showed me is that 2 460's in SLI, OCed like all hell can barely beat a 5970 at stock clocks by 1%.
And since when did a 5970 cost $1k?
But you've also showed me that my 4870's in CFX are right behind the 460's in SLI. Only 4.8FPS more @ 1080p.
So thanks. Edited by BlackOmega - 2/3/11 at 6:59pm
