The Green Lantern Computer i.e the loudest computer ever

Thread Starter
Well I'm a Geek Squad agent, one of the craziest, and I just recently migrated my build from my old HAF 932 to a new MountainMods case, and I went all out. Added a few hard drives, an optical drive, and some other goodies.

cimg1004.jpg

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

The hard drives, from left to right, 160gb Intel SSD (Boot Drive) 2x300gb WD Velociraptors, 750gb Seagate, 2tb Samsung, 2x2tb Seagates, for a grand total of 7.510 TERABYTES

cimg1005y.jpg

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

The front.
Left 5.25 bays: Reservoir and Fan Controller for the Radiator,
Right 5.25 bays: Bluray drive and Fan Controller for the hard drive cages

The top 3 holes are for the hard drive cages, the bottom 3 are for the radiator.

I got the fan grilles custom made for me by Pedgette, on this forum. Check out his work in the artisan forum! I'm very pleased with it. The various lantern logos. Life, Will, Death, Rage, and Fear. I've got Hope too, and I'm going to install that eventually.

Also note that I have to use Beats Studio headphones instead of speakers. This thing is too loud to use with speakers.

cimg1007k.jpg

A Rampage 3 Extreme Motherboard, 6x4gb Corsair Dominator Ram with Airflow fan, 2 GTX 295s in SLI, EK Supreme HF waterblock, with a Fatality X-fi soundcard nestled inbetween the graphics cards.

cimg1011c.jpg

A Black Ice GTX 360 Xtreme radiator, with 6 3000rpm Ultra Kaze fans in push/pull.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

The finished product. The case is a MountainMods Extended-U2-UFO, with custom paint job and custom laser etching on the acrylic window. Obviously I'm a big green lantern fan.

And obviously this isnt all for looks:

A Xeon w3520, overclocked from 2.66ghz to 4.6ghz rock solid stable.

Yep. I'm totally crazy biggrin.gif

This.

Also, is that overclock prime stable?

EDIT:

Why do you have a 1200W PSU for a rig that only consumes 700W, max?

Wow thats alot of voltage. I've seen some degrade with voltages near that. Till then, keep it up.

That pc would be an epic folding pc when your not gaming. wink.gif

So way into the suicide voltage range.

Please don't run that 24/7, your chip will hate you.
