G9, G9X users, quesiton on feet

Thread Starter
ok so ive been using the g9x with my archaetype mousepad, and the feet are fairly scratched, and my mouse seems to have alot more resistance when i move it up down the mouse pad, rather than left right, is everyone else like this too? i wanna know if the resistance is due to the scratches...Also, my top feet seems to be scratched on the edges only...the center of it doesnt seem to touch my mouse pad much :/, im curious to see what your mouse feet look like, ill show mine asap, but heres a paint drawing:

the red outline is where the part is worn out, the center of the top pad is almost untouched....

I'm using a mousepad. I do notice the sort of caved in part that hasn't been scratched up. I have had the mouse for 2 to 3 months and I don't see a difference up down left or right.

Hope that helps.

You might want to check for other locations that might be dragging your mouse or use a smooth and soft mousepad.

For those of you who are wondering what the heck is going on haha

Using a generic soft mousepad.

Scratched up all over? Yes

Noticeably more resistance or worn around the edges? No

Clean the mouse pad super good and the feet of the mouse. If that doesn't help just call logitech and they'll send a new one out to you.

Same.. I believe you can by replacement pads from Logitech if it's that noticeable to you OP.

Unrelated, Mines a little jacked from slamming it into my desk. It'll cut every once in awhile. Easy fix is slamming it into my desk.
