Thread Starter
I've been away for a while and i wanna build a system soon. I plan on taking my Bloomfield i7 920 out of my Dell system and use it.. Just wondering if that processor will work in a 1156 and 1366 too? Need a good motherboard.

Alrighty. Thats the info i was needing. So can anyone recommend me a good motherboard. I'm needing a 1366 socket.

You could try the motherboard I'm using, it OCs pretty well, has lots of features and is pretty cheap considering it's 210 off of the egg.

I've also heard good things about the Asus rampage II and III.

I recommend the Asus P6X58D-E, and the GigaByte X58A UD3R. You cannot go wrong with either.

+1 I'm currently using the P6X58D-E and find it the best of the 'affordable' 1366 boards.

If you are going to overclock get the Rampage III Extreme or Rampage II Extreme, they will overclock your balls off. If you are only going to do mild overclocking on none, just get a P6X58D-E.
