4.1 here with 1.52v stable, But i mostly keep it at 4ghzs 1.47v when it gets unstable after a week or 2 with 4.1 for some reason... Also will do 4.2ghzs but temps gets over 50c and will get unstable..

But just ordered my self a 1090t to replace it Hopefully temps will be better and hopefully it wont be as glitchy when and if it hits over 50c.. But hoping it will stay under 50c.

Other than that the 965 is a great chip! I just like to have little more power and i like to try new things

man there is no reason u need a 6 core cpu if all u do is game if u edit at least 6 hours a day u might need one but otherwise games wont need 6 cores for at least 5-8 years to come

Well i do multitask alot when i game and im sure a six core will help with that, And i also want a cooler running cpu this cpu i got runs pretty warm which limits my overclocking, Its A great cpu and i know it wont do much more than the 965 will in games but like i said i run tons of stuff in the background and i see my cpu spike to 100% and when it does i see slowdowns.

And if i can get the 1090t to 4.2 too 4.3ghzs its gonna game little better, Sure its ony 100 to 200mhzs but i do see a a little difference when i have the 965 at 4.2ghzs for a bit

The same was said about 8gb of ram when i was about to upgrade from 4gb and when i did i saw a nice increase in gaming sense i see some games peak right over 4gbs and sometimes close to 6gbs because with all the stuff i usely have running in the background and everything is just smoother.

I do covert videos sometimes to put on my portable devices before i go to work and i have to wait till it gets done before i play any games, So if i could do both at the same time i could get some gaming in before i go to work

Anyways its on sale for 200$ if the 1090t overclocks good im gonna sell the 965 which i know i would get 100 or maybe up to 150$ so pretty much i got the 1090t for ony 100$ or so.

If i have time i will make a new thread and post what i think about it and how much difference if any it makes Gonna run some bench's and stuff before i put it in.

My main concern is temps and overclock.

965BE C3 here, 1.4125V @ 3.8GHz (19x200)
Haven't tried higher yet since my RAM is so bad I don't think it would make any difference.
