GTX 460 or GTX 560? - Page 3

Best bang for the buck are GTX460 768 SLI. I would not buy a GTX460 1GB at the near $200 they are going for now when you get much more with the 560.

I tried all three set-ups last month, 460, 570, 560 SLI combos. The 570's rus too hot for me, cost too much, and have questionable reliability. The best bang for the buck was easily the 460 768sli. I decided to get the performance I wanted and pay more for the 560's.

When GTX460 1GB prices get to $150, for good cards like EVGA, that will be a great bargain. Unless something new comes along...

OP, the GTX460 EE cards run warmer and do not OC as well as the standard reference cards.

After much deliberation, I decided to hit the SLI'd 560's.

So hopefully I'll have them in under a week and we'll see how that goes.
I'm hoping well.

Thanks for all the advice, feedback, etc. Much appreciated.

Thanks, Solveig.
