Of the options you give, I would use the AS5 that you have.

Cure-time through thermal cycling is not necessarily a detriment as the temperature drop is generally only a few degrees.

Thread Starter
Thanx guys.

I used AS5. Installed the Frio tonight.

Had a Mugen2 before, and it has given me headaches as long as I had it.
Temps rose to 90 degrees celcius in IntelBurnTest with a vcore of 1.25

Now it barely reaches 65 with the same voltages.
I'm happy now.

I reseated that damn Mugen countless times, thinking I was doing something wrong.
Turns out it was the friggin peace of crap after all.
Tossed it in the thrash without hesitating.
Guess it was cheap for a reason.
Still can't get my mind around the fact that lots of ppl did get good temps with it.

If I'm not mistaken, I thought the Mugen 2 was a great cooler? I have heard to steer clear of AS5. The cure time will take around 2 weeks and then you have to replace it annually. I stuck with the CM TIM.
