I don't know why people are complaining but you gotta remember one thing, cryengine 3! Something new and plus we'll have sandbox editor so we'll be able to mod the crap out of this game and improve it better like we did with the other crysis games? Think about it. As for their specs,yes it's a little disappointing but hey that means we can max it out this time and not only that we can be able to make it more prettier with mods I'm getting this for sure. I might leave Black Ops for it from time to time and i love CRYSIS!

holy moly .. i built my rig for this game when it was comming out last year hahah.. but now it look s like the minimum specs are kinda pointing towards the fact its really optimised. i mean didnt the first crysis have these specs and now we all have better gpu's i think we'll all trash it. and on another note i think that looking at this game and also crysis 1 they both seem to be a great premise for a movie trilogy amirite?

Making games demanding is easy, just keep increasing the draw distance.
Even WoW is demanding because when it just started you could only see 200ft radius,
now it's several miles, and the game runs like crap.

The human eye can typically only see about (10?) miles in clear visibility conditions, so once visibility reaches those 3 miles it should be at its limit (in my opinion) to stay within a realistic feel.

Edit: I should clarify, a human is only limited if trying to look around the Earth's curve. Looking into space, we can see things lightyears away.

s = sqrt(2rh+h^2)

s = total distance of sight
h = height from the ground where your eyes are
r = radius of where you are (Earth = 39xx miles)
