uh oh, just got a SB mobo

Thread Starter
I just got a Gigabyte UD3P from Amazon.com (placed the order monday, and recieved it tuesday)

please tell me that I will be able to swap it out for a revised board come April, seems fair to me.

For now I will take my chances with the ports.

Yep, just use the SATA 3 ports if you only have 2 drives, and you'll be fine. Even if you have to use the SATA 2 ports, the problem occurs gradually, so you still shouldn't have a problem before April.

Was just wondering if Amazon would replace it when the new revisions come out...

Or would it be better to deal with Gigabyte?

For now, just use the SATA 6G/s ports if it has.

I'm sure you would have to deal with Gigabyte, as they are the ones that do the RMA's.
