Anyways, now I've realised that there is negacceleration @ 1000DPI meaning a cant use the mouse at all.
I was REALLY close to keeping the mouse even after that rage post (still haven't received mine)and trying the fixes posted here such as loosening the screws and cutting the plastic tab but I thought the 1000DPI step was working properly. Oh well.

Why would you need to use HIDUSBF to adjust the DPI?

****, nvm 1000DPI works fine, I was @ 500DPI but the dpi steps are so ****ed up I didn't realise I was @ 1000DPI since the 500DPI setting feels like 1000+...

And yea, the valor showed up as a keyboard on HIDUSBF, so I just changed the keyboard polling rate to 125 and it worked like a charm...

I also found the problem to the RMB requiring more pressure than LMB, it's that the RMB rubs on the side of the mouse piece that holds the mousewheel when you click down, I'll more pics plus explanation soon. Also gonna try to fix it myself.

As for the scratching, I think it's a part of the outershell not being the same height as the inner shell on the bottom. I took some 300grit+1000Grit sandpaper and there's NO more scratching at all.

As for the Wobble, I dont get any.

Everything seems to be coming together nicely, I dont have anymore real problems with the mouse anymore except the whole DPI/acceleration issue which I hope to god that puretrak will be able to fix it with a firmware update.

Hmm.. not sure what you're on about, with the Spawn supposedly having problems with the regular Puretrak Talent or the software having trouble recognizing it on W7 64-bit... I am using BOTH of those, and have ZERO issues with the Spawn, at least since Ver. 32 of the firmware came out.

My Valor just arrived in Saturday's mail. Initial impressions? Mine's also got the issue with the wobble on hard pads, due to the rear foot being uneven vs. the other three, and the detents on the scroll wheel feel pretty weak. The rubber coating seems nice, but I know now already, after playing with it for a few minutes, that the shape of this mouse isn't really going to suit me (too tall in the middle). The cord seems pretty nice, it's thinner and more flexible than a standard mouse cord, though not as thin as some Razer mice. I don't see the loss of the originally-planned braided cord as an issue, this one is perfectly ok. I have a feeling I'll hang onto the Valor and eventually frankenmouse it into another shell, after the firmware oddities get sorted (assuming they do).

PureTrak: Hello,

We are currently investigating the acceleration issues with the Valor at the 500dpi and possibly the 2000dpi levels. Once we locate the issue and resolve, a firmware update will be provided.

Why wait? His posts are filled with spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Just that nobody cares.

First I have heard of the grip problem... The only thing we changed from the original samples were rounding out the mousefeet and firmware.

If you are having issues with a white mousepad it should be fixed by using F/W version 30a.

Unfortunately we tried everything to work on the LOD with white surfaces, but the 3090 just wont allow it.

Everyone in US who is looking for a spawn. It will be here in 2 weeks!

For everyone giving Puretrak a hard time, you have to realize that not only are they working on a new firmware set. They cant use anything that has been developed for this sensor yet because they use a different lens.
