For reference my WMO measures 400, and my mx310 came up correct at 400 and 800 dpi for both steps.

These get flashed with the wrong firmware or something?
Makes a lot of sense based on what I was feeling. 500 dpi on my Valor was more than twice as fast as my WMO. That, to my knowledge, should be a rather easy firmware fix.

And yea, the valor showed up as a keyboard on HIDUSBF, so I just changed the keyboard polling rate to 125 and it worked like a charm...

I also found the problem to the RMB requiring more pressure than LMB, it's that the RMB rubs on the side of the mouse piece that holds the mousewheel when you click down, I'll more pics plus explanation soon. Also gonna try to fix it myself.

As for the scratching, I think it's a part of the outershell not being the same height as the inner shell on the bottom. I took some 300grit+1000Grit sandpaper and there's NO more scratching at all.

As for the Wobble, I dont get any.

Everything seems to be coming together nicely, I dont have anymore real problems with the mouse anymore except the whole DPI/acceleration issue which I hope to god that puretrak will be able to fix it with a firmware update.
My kinda guy, a fellow DIY'er. I'll probably be doing the same and if I can fix it and everything comes together, I'll be loving the mouse.

BTW can anyone overseas confirm whether they have received their valor?

Wow pretty harsh words there. In the beginning this mouse was supposed to 800/1600/2400/3500dpi, but there were demands for a lower dpi which they set to 500 and had to change all the dpi levels to 500/1000/2000/3500dpi. They even produced their own lens to get a lower lift-off distance that the 3090 wouldn't have had. Nick already said they are investigating to fix the problems. I guess if you really hate the company so much you shouldn't be using their products.

Honestly you have to be the most unfriendly and aggressive person I have ever seen on Overclock. Not to mention the only one. In my opinion, your giving OCN-ers a bad name and should be banned for that. It's disgusting that your going to insult Nick who has been dedicating a lot of his time, completely voluntarily, to talk to us here at OCN about our issues with his company's mouse. Then trying to recruit another industry representative to your side, and bring him down to your level to "talk trash" to Nick? There's more I could say, but I don't think I need too. If some one got a mod in here and Cuad out of OCN, I'm sure we would all appreciate it.

I honestly hope you tell me that post was a joke though. But I don't quite see that happening since you want to claim royalties for your insults to Nick. Oh well, what can you do

The hatch for the weight compartment rotates the opposite direction that one might expect, for it to open, most folks being used to right-hand threads. I used my two fingertips in the depressions to turn it clockwise. There isn't much there to grab the hatch with. The weights are pre-installed, so the first time anyway, it was simple to tap the rear of the mouse down against my palm, and the weights popped the hatch off. I know I'll never use any weights, so I went ahead and pulled them all out, plus the foam revolver-looking weight holder thingy; it's held in with double-sided tape. I just tried opening the hatch again, out of curiosity after reading your post, and had to use a fingernail to catch the hatch in the little groove around the periphery to pry it off. No problem, it's just a little snug. I'd rather have it snug than rattling around loose, that's for sure.

Have too remember too that the mouse also came with 3year warranty right out of the box So the people that is having problems with it than use it thats what its for..

I got lucky with my mouse which doesn't have no build issues right now, Just the acceleration and dpi issues which will be fixed in a firmware update.

And the rubber coating they used on this mouse is the best i ever had on a mouse.

But ya its harsh too bash nick like rivaldog said, And its nice of him coming too this forum and giving us updates which alot of company's don't even do they just hide.

Me so far im happy with the valor and talent.

Ya the weight system was a pain for me at first but after taking it off a few times its easy too get off now.
