I'll give you 5 bucks, a used condom and a bag of potato chips for it--family sized if u want, the condoms not the potato chips.

I can throw in one of them shiny yugi-mon cards if u want.

Having a warranty doesn't excuse the problems my mouse has/had making it past QC...

- Wobbling
- Outer shell dragging
- Skates not applied correctly
- QC sticker on rim of outer shell and dragging
- Cord sticking out of mouse at 45 degree angle
- Bottom not level or flush with top

Some of those things are related to each other, but not noticing any of those things?

One of the two screws on mine was torqued down so tightly it was partially stripped and I had to use a larger screwdriver to loosen it than the other.

Stacking one of the skates makes the mouse ride on the edge of the other, which seems like it plows into the Talent a bit when you move the mouse in the direction of the non-stacked skate.

I don't wish anything bad on Nick or Puretrak, and I hope everything gets sorted out and they make the Valor as good as I hoped it would be for everyone that has or gets one. And for the people who have theirs in a condition they're happy with, congratulations, I really do hope you enjoy it.

But at this point, I'd rather buy a new mouse that works out of the box rather than keep trying to fix one that arrived defective - especially since I'd have to wait for more stuff to be shipped just to find out if it can be brought up to par.

Well, not that we are bashing Puretrak, but Puretrak sure is doing a lot of deep apologizing right now...must be some serious problems going on, to require that(or, they're merely trying to be extra nice, to save as many customers from this sinking ship as possible).

Plus, as a customer, I feel somewhat insulted, for dropping $60 on a very delayed product, which wasn't even the product we were supposed to get.

So I guess how hard you wanna bash/"bash" is up to you; how much value was that $60 to you? I ain't rich, for one. Waiting 2 weeks for an email response is not cool, either, even if you have a warranty and will *eventually* be able to return it. How about manning-up on customer service reps, before doing a major product launch?

Concerning forum-going developers, I'd rather see polls on the product done by us consumers, and see the actual names & feedback of these "pros" who got to test the product...than some general(and apparently misleading & false) dev chat about the product, without knowing any major testing reviews/results from anyone outside the company.
can anyone explain why the 3rd mouse button is so impossible to press...

who thinks doing that is a good idea?

who thought in the dev process out loud possible "hey how hard should we make this button to press?"

and then someone said

"REALLY HARD REALLY REALLY HARD"

then it was passed along and like 10 other people thought it was also a great idea

pathetic....

Ya i understand your point and i probably would be mad too if my valor had alot of problems which so far its ony the sensor issues which should be fixed in a firmware update hopefully. But i think cuad went a bit too far.

And about responses from them it ony took about 1day for them too get back too me when i contacted them threw email about a question about my tracking number, And ony took couple hours for purenick too get back too me on pm.

For reference my WMO measures 400, and my mx310 came up correct at 400 and 800 dpi for both steps.

These get flashed with the wrong firmware or something?
How'd you test that?
