Puretrak Valor Information Thread - Page 125

Just tested the Valor seriously yesterday afternoon:
the "500" cpi value got alot of negative accealration.
the "100' cpi value go less amount of negative accelration - I can say that even cant be felt.
Cant remember what I had checked about "2000".
the "3000" seems to have positive accelration somehow.

The LoD is 3CD's.
And for how wonders the Spawn with v3 firmware seems to have glitchy drivers and the LoD seems to be lower than 1.2m/m since it doesn't track 1CD even.

The spawn does not technically have drivers. The software is only a UI to give users the options to reprogram the buttons / polling rate / prediction, the remapping is then saved to the memory on board the mouse which is why sometimes it hangs when you click apply. One the settings have saved to the mouse and you are happy with the settings, the software is no longer needed for any instance.

Has anyone in Europe received theirs yet? Have we been moved to the back of list, regardless of purchase date?

Cheers, good to know it may be on the way.

Edit: oh, I'm still on packaging status, so make that +1 week from some random date for me then

You can see the damage, by the mouse wheel. The uneven right and left mouse buttons. The middle piece, that separates the lmb/rmb is crooked. The cord was all mangled.
Also, it's been 4 days, since I emailed puretrak about my refund. Their initial email, was very fast, but then I asked who would have to cover the shipping back. To which, I haven't gotten a response yet. I don't think it's fair, for the consumer to have to cover shipping on a defective product. I also told them, that if all of these problems were fixed, i'd consider getting another valor, but not from this initial production run. On a positive note, I also ordered a Stealth pad at the same time that I ordered the Valor, and I absolutely love this mouse pad! My wrist never leaves my mousing surface, so you can imagine after hours of gaming on a hard pad, my wrist is pretty sore. That will never happen again, thanks to the Stealth. That is why, i'm surprised at the quality of the Valor, because the mouse pad is top notch quality!

Finally just got my Valor today Can any one tell me how to get the weight cover open again? I got it off when the weights were in there... And I put it back on to see how it felt with out weights... And now can't get it back off... Feels extremely comfortable, much better than my mobile mouse 3000. Thumb Buttons are high up but still easy to press, it doesn't throw me off at all when moving my thumb up to press them. It is a little harder to lift up then my other mouse though, I can grip this one palm finally since it's big enough and my mobile mouse though I was palm/claw hybrid gripping it and that made it a little easier to lift up. Scroll wheel is nice to scroll up and down I like that. LMB and RMB take the same amount of force to press. No dragging issue, not scratching my mouse pad. Wobble is present, but only on my hard desk. Besides that, on my mouse pad it's not noticeable at all and won't affect me. My one and only problem with this mouse so far is getting the weight cover off :/ I haven't done accel tests yet and most likely won't even notice the accel because I will be using the second step and most report there is little to no accel on that step. Lovin it

I just received mine today. I'll be brief.

It definitely wobbles like crazy on my Steel Series 9hd.

500 DPI feels much faster than 500dpi. Too fast.

Mouse 4 button is smashed in a bit and hard to press. It's not lined up with Mouse 5.

I plan on returning it.
