and they're the first to have firmware problems right? it's broken for the people who want 500dpi but for those who actually use 1000dpi or 1600dpi or whatever you guys think it is..... it's perfectly fine and feels great. The two others Valors I saw were good as well.

rubbish mate. let's huff and puff at puretrak for not releasing firmware right when you want it and scream like a baby until its comes out.... is that the best way of going about getting what you want? I think I recall CM taking the better part of 4 months to release new firmware for this sensor and its still not 100%..... but hey, I'm just all saying this while using my brain at the same time. I know that might be a challenge for some

I never said that all of the problems explained were false or dreamt up. I know they did have problems and thats fine... this is normal in engineering and manufacturing. but some are critiquing puretrak with so many of these "problems" that its very obvious they're just trying to pick apart anything to jump on the hating bandwagon. I'm not for this.

light projecting through the seams in the shell 'so bad' that it's projecting on to their walls? Funny enough cause I get the same thing with my DA when every single light if off in me room and I'm looking for it

and my personal fav..... the lift-off distance on the sensor is so high that it still moves when being pointed at the ceiling. Ya, this sound believable mate.

I went through pretty much this entire thread and assuming puretrak didn't sell just 10-15 of these, i think it's safe to say that the majority of valors do not have the problems some of you are describing. I'm one of them and the others I have seen are as well. and don't say "the dpi is still F#&* up! wah wah! they're so awful!". Give them time my god. They said they're working on it...... its not going to happen overnight

So because the DPI step you use works no one else can complain? Pull your head out your ass, you're hitting colon.

Yeah that's me, I've just been the huge crybaby of the thread. I've been real patient and giving them the benefit of the doubt, but I'll keep calling it broken until they actually fix it.

huff and puff, most of the huffing and puffing started because of shipping issues and lack of updates, im guessing you play at 1000dpi(which is really 1800) which seems to be the dpi stage with the least amount of acceleration, and this is a forum, people are going to come on here when they have problems, im annoyed at the qc issues, my right side side grip coming looses, the wobble issue, and the light from the sensor is annoying, cause it hits the monitor which can be distracting, just add to the delayed shipping(many people have and had it worse than me so im not going to judge). I love the feel of the mouse but too but not so much im blinded by the issues the mouse has and if you did use your brain while saying what you said than i feel bad for you, cause doesnt sound like you thought much.

Sorry mate, having to resort to petty insults to try to bully people who have valid criticisms of the service and/or product they received from Puretrak doesn't make your non-existent arguments any better. Maybe they play better in person if you bluster in a loud voice and accompany them with a condescending laugh? So please give the pathetic hate and crying rhetoric a rest.

People didn't just make these issues up about something they bought here. This is Overclock.net where every 2500k hits 5GHz, every Phenom hits 4 GHz and every GTX 560 ti hits 1 GHz. This is where people aren't satisfied that the CPU they bought performs better than someone else's, the other person's CPU also has to be "bottlenecking their video cards" and molesting small animals. People here defend their choices to the extreme if they can find anything to cling to.

I requested an exchange and I'll see how that goes. The problems that I and other people here have experienced aren't hype or hysteria. If only 10 or 15 or maybe 20 people had problems, I can say for sure I'm one of them and I didn't exaggerate anything.

If only 20 valors out of all of the valor's they shipped had issues, then why won't they agree to an exchange? My mouse has so many issues with it it's literally unusable, that's even without taking into account that broken firmware/sensor.

Well..last Valor update from Puretrak was before week.
Any news of fix, you even found the issue or still looking for it??

Seriously now, I give it more 1week and then sell / return mine.
