Puretrak Valor Information Thread - Page 136

I really think a lot of the physical defects could have been caused by the minimal packaging. I know mine arrived somewhat dislodged, with the weight cover/weights just rolling around in the bottom of the box, so it would stand to reason other bumps might have caused some of the other issues.

There's really something to be said about proper packaging. The Talent's tube packaging is excellent, so I was very surprised to see how poorly the Valor was packaged.

USPS tracking confirms my Valor arrived at their warehouse today, so I will check back in when I have my refund.

i agree to a certain extent, yeah the packaging left alot to be desired, i mean atleast put a little filler in the box to stop the sliding around, also, my weight tray was opened with weights all loose in the box, the mouse wasnt seated in the box well so it did look like it had a rough trip. Bad packaging yes, but i dont think they are related to the issues ive had atleast: wobble, side grip coming looose and ofcourse tracking issues. I just feel like the problems were because of rushing it out(which seems hard to believe since it seems it took awhile) and not enough testing.

They got my package on the 27th and my full refund was in my bank on the 29th so they were as fast as they could have been.

I honestly hope Puretrak can learn a lesson here, upgrade their quality control, fix the firmware and eventually release a successful defect free Valor and in the future the claw grip mouse they were talking about based on the same sensor.

So, you guys just sent it back to the address provided, and you ate the shipping? I'm so sick of trying to get answer from puretrak, I might just send it back and get screwed on the shipping too.

IMO you should keep the package close and no open it untill fix by puretrak will release..
and if you will fed up / cant wait anymore so you can just get a refund and dont take any chance.

(yeah @bullveyr, I'm jewish ^_^)

Even the good firmware release I won't dare open the package. The futurish looks below looks ugly for me.
