I feel your pain.
Sent an RMA request 31/08/2011 after receiving mouse 25th August.
Problem: Valor wobbles, no free Talent which was promised.
Got a reply back the same day. Heres what they had to say about the Valor:
"Sadly, we have had several customers as of recently who claim to have issues with their Valor and when it arrives (with us comping shipping)... we find that they have never either a). opened their Valor or b). didn't actually have an issue with their Valor. I am noticing that your Valor was also one that went through our additional quality control checks to ensure the wobble issue did not exist. When you say back and forth, do you mean side to side (left to right) or is it in fact wobbling front to back? Since these added quality control checks have started, we have not had a single report of this wobble so you would be the first "
So after insinuating I was one of these customers trying to return a non faulty Valor I made a video demonstrating the wobble my mouse exhibits:
Also note no spare mouse feet were included with my Valor so can't stack skates as they suggested to me.
And the separate Stealth pad I ordered from them arrived with food/glue or something of that nature on one area of the surface and sides of the pad. In fairness they offered to replace the Stealth after I pointed out to them I wasn't happy with the condition it arrived in, but by this point I had already cleaned the surface so no need.
After this initial response, 18 days have passed. Sent numerous other emails to firstname.lastname@example.org
but Puretrak are yet to get back in contact with me.
