I apologize for the confusion. I was going by weight readings from both the factory as well as our in house scale readings. As I suspect our in house scale has been giving us inaccurate readouts, I have arranged for a new scale as well as a third party independent test to ensure the new scale is accurate and to officially confirm the weight of the Valor.

I will provide official weights for the following:

Total mouse weight, including packaging and all weights within.
Total mouse weight, excluding packaging, weights within.
Total mouse weight, excluding packaging, weights excluded.
Total mouse weight, excluding packaging, weights excluded, cable excluded.

For those curious what scales will be used, we will be using Adam PGW & DYMO Pelouze series scales.

Again, I greatly apologize for the variety of total weights I've described. As many changes have been made to the Valor since it was originally scaled, the overall weight has fluctuated quite a bit. Our only verification on weight was coming directly from factory weights.

I will have verified weights of the above provided in the next 3-5 hours with included photos.

imo, a mouse is a mouse. If it's USB and laser optical and has a wheel, i will take it!

Nice, lighter than Xai mouse. And has the grip of the mx518 mini version. Which what I looking for.

Btw the question is the Talent smoother than Razor Destructor?

I don't want to sound like a tool but they still don't make sense to me.

You have 7 10g weights but putting them in (118g) or out (83g) only make a difference of 35g. Are your sure the weights aren't only 5g?

9g for a 2.1m cable seems unrealistically low.

That I still have a hard time to believe that a "big palm moues" (allthough pretty short) only weights 74g is another story.

Btw, how did you scale the mouse without the cable, without the cable atached (as most manufacturers do) or did you actually cut the cable right at the body (real world weight of the mouse)?

PS: Why did you go for the D2FC-F-7N and not for the D2F-01F?

You're not sounding like a tool at all . Your questions are allowing me to quadruple check numbers and specifications from both our end and the factories end.

The weights are in fact 5g in full each making for a total of 35g in available weights for the Valor.

Keep in mind that the lower weight of this mouse has to do with the fact that our PCB is much smaller than that of a traditional palm grip mouse and this is due in part to the weight system design. Also, the Valor does not house an active LCD screen and/or complicated top mounting switch board. These factors alone can differ a mouse's weight 30g easily.

The cable was in fact cut at the base, not removed all together. Our 2.1m cable, in whole, weighs in at 31g. The 9g difference is the total weight which the cable applies to the mouse from simply being mounted to it.

For the switch, we originally planned on using the D2FC-F-7N switches due to it's wide spread use and steady availability. This may be a technical feature we may revise in future batches of the Valor however.

From my experiences as well as common user feedback, yes it is.

I want a free Valor for that, just kidding.

Yea, a little chat with my "source in the business" convinced me, not that I wouldn't believe you.

That's the way how you really scale a mouse.

D2F-01F would have given you some credit in some mouse nerd circles.
