What I mean is how is DPI switching accomplished, is there one button that goes through the list one way and then jumps back to the first one or are there two buttons that switch back and forth? And does the scroll wheel keep flashing or does the LED turn off or stay on steady or what?

One button, it cycles from lowest DPI (500) to the highest (3500) and then back to 500. The mouse wheel will stop indicator flashing after exactly 3 seconds and remain lit solid blue.

Imho a bad solution because you can't easily switch between 2 CPI settings ingame (allthought I don't need that anyway).

Keep in mind, we didn't decide to just settle on this method of DPI switching. Using the K.I.S.S. method came in to play after we received feedback from a few thousand gamers on how they manage their DPI settings.

The vast majority had a very similar response to your "although I don't need that anyway" comment. I do appreciate the insight though. This feature maybe something we consider in future mice models.

It's just that it will not help to get good reviews, people see that you have the usual CPI switching button and then realize that it doesn't work very well.
That it's actually not really intended for that doesn't really help.

Allthough I've a certain opinion on how a mouse should be I try to be open minded and look at a mouse from an objective POV.

What is the deal calling the mouse Valor? I have seen numerous nickname valerdian lately. And if you ask me Valer and Don are both overrated rangers for me. >.>

Really promising mouse & amazing deal considering the quality of the Talent pad.

What's the best way to get one of these in the UK?

Cheers.

IIRC, Nick says that they start to work with resellers over the worldwide, so you have to have reseller in UK soon.

or, buy directly from PureTrak.

what if I already have a talent mouse pad? LOL guess I have two now.

I dont understand why people every want to switch between DPI on the fly, I guess it helps if you need to turn a tank turret, but you are never going to get good at an FPS game if your playing with multiple sensitivities, you cant develop muscle memory. Set it once and never change it
