I really want the Talent mouse pad too so the offer is perfect for me, the only issue is that it appears that you can only pre-order from the PureTrak website at the moment.

The shipping costs for the item to be tracked are extremely high, ($100+), therefore USPS Priority Mail at $16 is my only option. Is this a risky way to send an item to the UK though? :/

Any help appreciated!
Hello,

Not risky at all. As the above member stated, USPS Priority Mail is one of the most reliable shipping providers here in the US. While transit times are a bit slower overseas than FedEx or UPS, USPS still provides fast-enough service for the price.

For USPS International shipping, you're looking at around 6-10 days depending on customs. I've seen it as low as 2-4 days though.

Let me know, thanks!
Maybe it is looping because he is clicking 'Calculate Shipping Quote' after selecting a 'Shipping Method' which resets the shipping cost and makes you re-select the 'Shipping Method' again.

A TINY bit apparently, like ~0.5%.

Haha you were right, I never noticed the shipping option pop up after it calculated the shipping quote. Oops

Wonder how it would fit my 17cm long hand. Wish there was measurements how you actually hold the mouse, with a flexible measure. Measurements from bottom just tells that it's really fat, but as you can see from the picture, it's quite skinny.

Never tested this kind of layout before, is it better than xai/deathadder setup where your fingers might touch the mouse pad?

Better?

That can't really be said as it's preference. I like my fingers to drag so I can use them to stop the mouse.

Hi, thanks for that. Pre-ordered the mouse yesterday, can't wait now!

Last mouse I used was from from the same OEM and had a nearly identical shape, so I can answer some of these. I use a palm grip for fps and a claw for anything else, and IMO it's really comfy for both becaue of the weird height, plus it lets it have a pretty small footprint. Keeps your hand off the table when you palm it, and the height plus the high point being in the center of the mouse pitches your wrist back slightly so that you naturally do kind of a claw grip on it. Maybe a matter of taste but I like it more than the wide and short style of the mx518.

This mouse looks like the perfect replacement for my mx518.

There is one thing I would like to know before buying this mouse. What is the default DPI of the mouse after boot. I use my mx518 without drivers and each time I boot it returns to the default 800DPI. Does the valor have a similar behavior or does it remember the last DPI used?
