Basing your purchase on whether or not the scroll wheel glows is... uh.... something.

I don't have my mind set on an amazingly high performance mouse, but one that has at the least decent performance with a nice price and appearance. The Death Adder from what I hear is a very well performing mouse and in my opinion a very appealing mouse with it's LED's and aggressive design. The Valor though, is suppose to be a much better mouse but it's not quite as appealing with less LED's, at least in the pictures.... I'm thinking if the scroll wheel glows like I think I may purchase it over the Death Adder. If not I'll most likely go with the Death Adder any ways, better performing or not.
Hello,

The Valor has 1 functional LED which is BLUE in color and illuminates the scroll wheel. This is a functional LED as well which shows the end user what DPI selection they are switching to upon clicking the top-mounted DPI button.

Hope this helps

P.S. For those sticklers to detail, I'm obviously not counting the LED which the sensor uses

New pics of the Valor has been added, and new msg on PureTrak's Wall:

"Gamers!

As promised, exclusive real-view photos of the Valor are now available! You will see in true, unaltered detail, just what this mouse is made of.

A last minute upgrade to the Valor's microswitches which will now use the D2FC-3M "Yellow Top" switches from OMRON. These wonderful switches are a fantastic upgrade over the original D2FC-F-7N switches in terms of overall durability and "crisp" click feedback."
The News Pictures of the Valor can be found here.

What's with the huge gap in the scroll wheel housing?
That must be due to the 4ways scrolling. This housing was design for it but as they remove this option the didn't mod the shell to match the normal scroll. :S

Wow last minute changes, I thought they were already in production xD

And Nick, your inbox is full. I've made the pre-order yesterday.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Here are the higher resolution photos for everyone since facebook's quality is not that great.

The wider gap in the mouse wheel housing is in fact due to the 4-wheel scroll function which was originally planned. Over the course of our 6 month+ testing, dust build up in multiple households was very low.
