6000DPI
i changed from a 1000DPI mouse to a 6000DPI(highest in the marked for what i know) mouse
spent 1h changing the games sense and the windows sense
after it the result was: incredibly smooth and without failing tracking in everygame i play or played
never failed on me
2min's per week calibrating the laser and its rdy to rock
the best 90€ i spent till now
What are you on about? Were did you hear the puretrak will be raw input? I still think its just as important for a game to be properly coded in raw input for their to be much use with it.

Asked PureTrak when we can expect the mouse and they stated:

"Good things come to those who wait! Some quick glimpse pictures of the all-new PureTrak Valor mouse will be up by the end of the weekend... many promises ."

At least we can decide whether or not the shape will be worth it. Heres to hoping!

WOW that mouse actually looks comfortable. I wish Razer would do something sorta nice like this.

I would buy one just for this statement

"Q: Optical or Laser?
A: A big and important question. Optical. While laser has come along way since it's inception and offers some very attractive numbers, it still doesn't give the right "feel" as an optical sensor. We were never interested in getting in to a "horse power" race with other manufactures who feature these laser sensors with 5000dpi+ and even some with 6000dpi+? Truth be told, avid gamers want the right feel and really could care less on what numbers their sensor is putting down."

Finally one company gets this

So far so good. The increments are nice. Love the design. Hopefully no sensor issues and we'll have a new challenger in town (about time)
