My sister has an good camera, when she gets home with it, I'll take some pics and a video of the tilt. As far as the wheel led goes, it's really not a big deal. You only see the actual led if you're looking above the actual mouse. The light is used to indicate the dpi level. When you press the dpi button, the light flashes from slow to fast to indicate what level you're on. They probably could have done without it, but meh.

Doesn't stay flashing, sorry. Wrote that poorly. It just flashes when you first press it.

thats fine i suppose and LED is not a BAD way to signify DPI but options to turn off the static LED should be a MUST on all mice

i find it distracting but im also sensitive to the mouse accel on the avago 9500 so im more picky then most

As stated before, the LED is to illuminate the mouse wheel and serves as a functional indicator to the end user for selecting their preferred DPI setting. The LED was implemented for this very reason as it would prove more frustrating attempting to cycle through the DPI settings simply on "feel" rather than visual confirmation.

eosgreen, as you seem to be very unsatisfied with our product even before receiving it (or just trolling, you make that call) I will be happy to process a full refund for you and cancel your shipment. Honestly, I don't wish for anyone to take on our products if they are not going to be truly happy with it.

Ickz, I will be looking forward to your video/photos. I just testing 5 Valor's I cannot replicate your issue. I will also discuss this matter with some other customers who have already received their product.

They did a bad job with the edges of the rubber coating. In the pic, I circled two places where I can actually see rubber poking up at the edges and causing a really annoying and rough feel. Obviously, this is probably going to vary from mouse to mouse. Not going to lie, I'm really disappointed overall right now.

edit: I will get pics of this as well. I probably won't be able to get them up until tonight.

im mad you guys have never managed to ship anything to me in UNDER 3 weeks and that your forums are useless for any questions i ask

you guys used a good sensor on the mouse thats all i can say to it being a "successful" mouse

back mounted weight system is garbage even weight distribution should have been a goal instead of just using a mouse design that already existed

im not disappointed in your mouse before getting it, im just real ready to jump on any anti design bandwagon because its just poor decision making imo to just copy something that wasnt worth copying

there is a high likelyhood i would be wanting a refund after i test the mouse out because despite how i prob will hate the design the sensor is going to be better then any mouse out atm and ill be forced to deal with it. not to mention i dont have 2 months for you guys to process 60 bucks id rather just eat the cost and not spend 10mins of my time returning it

i think in general ive been fed up with the mice makers and its culminated in this rant on this topic and in SOME way it came off incoherent and trollish

i can give you like 10 things that would make your mouse THE best mouse ever made and it isnt hard to come up with or brilliant in any way, its simple things that for some reason are not obvious to you but are to myself and a few others i have witnessed posting here

if you want good constructive criticism as egotistical as it may sound i doubt you would find someone more astute to the problems mice makers have then myself but as always who am i but eosgreen random internet dweller, you can just ignore what he has to say

lol figures he leaves topic anyone who doesnt like the design is a troll even the ones who can point out why and how to fix it

got my valor earlier this morn! phew that was a long 2 months, lol. mine shipped yesterday and i woke up this morning with it on my door step and i'm in FL. pretty fast.

i'm new to this forum but saw some of the guys on the puretrak facebook page chating about it. i'm a usually on the esreality boards. i'm a big enthusiast of gaming stuff so i'll try to give you guys some feedback since it seems a lot of you are still waiting.

i've been gaming on the valor for about 6 hours now. i didn't notice any of the things Ickz was talking about especially the tilt thing. mines planted to the desk with no wiggling or movement to the sides. here's what i've noticed so far:

pros:
-shape is awesome.... very comfortable especially if ur used to a MX518 or similar shape. i would probably say that the valor could pass for a hybrid-grip style mouse since that is what i am. the fully rubber case is very nice and smooth, i can actually tell a quality difference with the valor compared to other rubber coated mice... seems like this wont wear out as easily
-buttons feel really good. crisp solid click and not too rough/hard. anyone know what switches they use again? im guessing omron but i think I saw they changed them. either way, good switches.
-mouse wheel feels sturdy. im used to a very light scroll so this feels a little harder than im used to but it feels solid and durable. i can get used to it.
-SENSOR is fantastic! i cant feel any pos/neg acceleration and it looks to not have any jittering or boxing issues. im using the 1000dpi setting but use the 500dpi in game...... super smooth and honestly perfect. no wonder people have been creaming over this sensor, lol
-the mouse feet actually feel good, i was worried about the perfectglide stuff because i don't like any friction what so ever but these feel smooth and quick.
-balance is perfect 50/50 with the weights out but im running 2 weights so it's a little towards to the back.... i can't feel a difference though
-LOD is dead on to what they claim and i think is set to a good level.... i have the spawn as well with the new firmware and that LOD is so low it actually blows a lot of shots for me in game. i had to revert back to another version

cons
-preordering took forever =D
-weight system isnt really needed but i guess it's a good thing since i do like it with 2 weights
-didn't come with a manual or any other reading material.....
-no software for setting up custom binds. not a HUGE con since most my games allow custom binds anyway but itd be nice
-no padding inside the packaging. not the retail box, but the shipping box. it was fit snug which is probably why they didn't use it but you never know.
-mouse 4+5 buttons are a little higher than what im used to, near the top of the mouse.... but again, i can get used it

overall i think this thing is great. its hard to make every1 happy and mice are like cars, theres a make and model for everyone...... but this is a good shot especially for a first shot. cant beat it especially with the free talent which is another best-of product.

i think you guys will like it. im picky as hell with mice (i'm sitting on 8 different right now) and i give this a thumbs up. still room to grow (ESPECIALLY IF THEY MAKE A CLAW MOUSE =DDDDDDD) but ya.

ill post pics up in like 15min. battery is chargin'
