My only issue is that the 1000 dpi setting doesnt really even feel close to the 1000 dpi setting of my zowie ec2. Forget about 500dpi, thats not even close.

Im wondering if the DPI profiles in the firmware are correct. (I realize there are likely acceleration and prediction differences that might go into this, but the zowie feels much more precise to me, and with the side buttons being better shaped/located...

Id be interested to see how this mouse ends up. I think it has potential but too many problems right now.

Just got mine in the mail a hour ago and just played some call of duty black ops and so far its good.

Don't have un even edges on the bottom of the mouse and so far not scratching the mouse pad, But i do agree about the dpi which seems more than what it has on each setting like 1000dpi feels much higher than 1000 same goes for 500dpi, The mouse i was using before this was the rat 7 which i used at 925dpi and this mouse feels faster than that even at 500dpi. I i also got alot of other mouses like 1.1 and wheel mouse xai and the list goes on so don't bash me about the rat i just like too change too different mouses often

But ya dpi seems wrong on this mouse, But for now i will have too get used too it, I do like the mouse so far, And i do like the shape It fits my hands like a glove.

But i did have one problem which is the weight lid.. It was hell getting off, Than i hit the bottom couple times and it pop right off, Which im sure will break in over time and get looser.

Oh and it does tilt a bit like everyone else,s which does seem too be the feet on mine causing it, So will fixed those later but it doesn't bother me at all on the talent which hardy tilts on that.

Right mouse button is also a bit stiff also which doesn't bother me much sense my finger that rests on it push's that button harder than any other finger lol

Other than that the build quality feels fine too me on my mouse.

And the talent wow what a nice mouse pad, I had the qck big pad before this and i like the talent much better, I even like it better than my rocket fish hard pad.

Sorry about the wall of text.. But i like too tell everyone what i think of the mouse

Just got my mouse and before doing my impressions, i have to ask... how do you get the mousefeet not to scratch the mousepad, with sandpaper and a razerblade, can someone explain to me slowly.

Ok, impressions.(after 2 hours use)

-I definitely like the shape of the mouse, it's more of a hybrid shape with lots of inward curves rather than outward curves found on most ergonomic mice(IME 3.0, DA).

-It definitely feels lighter than my DA and my Xai but it's a mouse that you'd expect to be heavier than what it actually is because of the look of it, for that reason, it makes the build quality feel cheap and also gives the impression that the entire inside of the mouse is just hollow space... However, while gaming, this definitely was not a concern since I'm so focused on the game and I'm grateful that the Valor feels this light. After all, the 1.1 is really light and cheap feeling but it's an incredible mouse!!!

-I get a really great grip on the mouse, the mouse is definitely really "gripable" and that translates to more controllable behavior while gaming, some mice that have "nongrippy" designs tend to fail you when you do a really quick swipe, but this thing holds well.

-The clicking all feels good except that the RMB is definitely a little harder to click than the LMB, and that nags me allot but it doesn't really piss me off that much when I game.

-The sidebuttons have some of the greatest tactile feedbacks ever, i love the "clickyness of them", however, they are situated wayyyy too high up and the mere act of reaching there makes you lose COMPLETE control over your mouse. So in this case, the cons far outweigh the pros, after all, a good feedback won't make you play any better, but moving your thumb up to click the sidebuttons might get you killed

-I have no problems at all with the weight system, it's easy to remove and put on for me and the overall weight of the mouse feels centered, however, I prefer it when the weight of the mouse is spread out proportionally throughout the mouse... not all centered in the middle.

-The sensor seems to track well 1000 DPI(havn't tried the others yet) but @ 500 DPI i do get lots of negative acceleration and that pisses the **** out of me considering I only play @ 400-500DPI.

-The malfunction speed and maximum perfect control speed seem to be really high on this mouse @ 1000DPI since I still havn't been able to make the mouse freak out at that DPI.

-Another issue is that when the mouse is at 500 DPI, I swear it feels exactly like my DA @ 800 DPI and when the mouse is @ 1000, it feels like 1800+. So I'm not just forced to play @ 1000 DPI, but 1000DPI that feels like 2000.... great.

-Last issue and probably the worst for me right now is the mouse scratching my mousepad, I'm using my QCK heavy right now cause I'm afraid it'll scratch my brand new talent. Nick said you needed to put a second mouse feet or something to stop the wobbling, however I don't get any NOTICABLE wobble on my softpad(I do on my flat table, but very very very very little). I just want to get rid of this scratching, it's slowing the mouse down and it's ruining my mousepads . So please, teach me(slowly) how to remove this issue.

Overall, I'm still indecisive whether I like this mouse or not, if i can fix the mousefeet issue, which I assume I can, and if Puretrak can fix the horrible DPI/negative accel issue, then there's really nothing i wouldn't like about this mouse(besides the positionning of the sidebuttons ;p)

Not in your first your review. In another post you wrote some babble I don't remember and then said, "Why don't we take a poll: How comfortable is the Valor?" And then had some other mice below that scored out of 10 based on comfort and the Valor was at 3.5 out of 10 and other mice were all 7 or 8 out of 10 to show that you don't think the Valor was comfortable. I know that you must have simply based those scores on comfort because your actual review of the Valor was 2.5 out of either 5 or 10.

I think you should've apologized for your grammatical and spelling errors instead, lol.

You can get more feet from puretrak for free since yours suffer from the tilt problem as well.

can someone tell me why my mouse isn't showing up on HIDUSBF...
@ Nick: Thx for the response. I just hope I won't have the "wobble" issue. But at least I'm confident that I can scrape this of and just replace the mouse feet with the extra ones that come with the Valor. Good thing you include those don't you think

Nice to see this level of dedication to fixing all the acceleration issues. Go for it. Once you sort this out you'll have an awesome sensor.

I didn't, huh? I'm sorry if you can't read, or remember things from a few pages back, but I *did* mention all of those things in the review, using a rating system of 1-5 stars(that is used @ Puretrak.com, integers only)

Later, I explained further my reasoning for rating the ergonomics/comfort score low, asking for a poll, to hopefully show evidence for this.
