this is about post processing not video quality, post processing is only needed on crap quality source content so if your watching decent quality material you wouldnt have any on anyway...

funny. wasn't the complaint that nvidia focused too much on HPC and not on gaming for the 4xx series?

Ya one of the reasons I upgraded to a 4850 from my 8800gt was because the 8800gt would make everything have a red tint to it. The 4850 did a much better job, but now I can't upgrade my drivers anymore because the newer ones just don't work without serious problems with some games.

Well Anand did some transcoding tests.

Speed: Intel SB > Nvidia > AMD > CPU

Image Quality: CPU > AMD ~ Intel SB > Nvidia

Basically don't use Nvidia CUDA for transcoding IQ.

Interesting, I adjusted my video settings in CCC to correspond with the 5750, but anyone know how to watch the 'Video Demo Mode', I select it and apply but no video shows.
-edit-

nvm it spits any video automatically

-edit-

And doesn't help 240p youtube videos much ^^
