Dream Phone? - Page 2

My dream phone:
  • Stock Android 2.3 (and to get crazy WP7 dual boot ) as well as a somewhat open bootloader
  • 4.3" qHD S-AMOLED+ with gorilla glass
  • Aluminum build
  • Quality camera, ffc optional
  • Dual Core @ 1/1.2Ghz (not sure which model at this point)
  • 1950MAh battery
  • physical keys, rather than capacitive
  • 1Gb of DDR2
  • 16Gb of internal storage w/expandable MicroSD
  • optical pad a la droid incredible
  • Fingerprint scanner
  • affordable docks (unlike the $500 laptop shell of the atrix)
  • RGB notification light

best part is, I can see everything but the dual boot (and perhaps the physical buttons and trackpad) being real within the year. No small amount of it within the coming months.

HDMI out
Stock rooted 2.3
Swivel camera like on the Notion Ink adam
D-pad + 4 buttons and a trackpoint.
SDXC slot (not microSD)

Closest to it is the Xperia Play.
How is it close? It has... 1 thing? I'd say the Atrix, with a qHD display, 1Ghz Dual Core, something that seems to be similiar to the 543, 1Gb ram, 16Gb Rom, and HDMI out would be far closer. Also, per your Pentile comment, I recommend you check out S-AMOLED+ (no pentile)

A small, light phone that reliably makes and receives phone calls and texts and that's it. Please, please, please, cell phone companies, please halt the migration to requiring everyone to have a smartphone. I enjoy being unwired, and would rather not be forced to use a large phone just to make phone calls, and would rather not have to pay so much for only using voice and texts...
