starcraft 2 crashes every time

Thread Starter
So I just got Starcraft 2 and i am unable to play it. I got through the tuturial no problem. Now when i start the campaign it crashes to desktop and i get this...

e_gfxGraphicsAPIError
"StarCraft II has encountered an unexpected DirectX/OpenGL error. This may indicate an issue with an out-of-date videocard driver. If the problem persists, for more information consult our support website at http://starcraft2.com/support."
Error code: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL (8876086C)

-I have used driver sweeper to get rid of any old drivers and then installed latest drivers.

- I have also reinstalled the game twice still with no luck.

- I have tried lowering resolution/graphics, no luck

- I also added a couple lines in variables.txt that i found in other forums.

if anyone knows how to fix this it would be appreciated.

Try older drivers. Go back 1 or 2 generations.

What drivers did you reinstall? Looks like your DirectX isn't working correctly. Also try contacting Blizzard support.

maybe try this.

Error code: D3DXERR_INVALIDDATA (88760B59)
Name=C:\\ProgramData\\Blizzard Entertainment\\Battle.net\\Cache\\Download\\763A90 CB219393097F68D026CC80AC1979C0976F008CE4FECB7960C3 1CF8C729

That means it's crashing when trying to load a corrupt or otherwise broken model or texture file with D3DX. The filename is in the bnet download cache, so to make it work it I believe you can simply delete the file mentioned or clear out the entire folder. ProgramData is a hidden folder so you'll need to reveal those or use the command prompt.

The file corruption could be caused by an incomplete download, an SC2 bug or a hardware fault.

you have your graphics oc"d have you tried it on default?

I got it to work...kinda. I have to put everything on the absolute lowest settings, so the problem is with anything that is medium or higher.
