And Also the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Metal Gear Solid games. The 2nd one doesn't have so much emotion, but the 3rd and 4th do. They're fantastic. Although you will need either a PS2 or a backwards-compatible PS3 to play them (or emulator).

But you can play the original MGS on PS3. It will play PS1 discs. Or you can buy it in the PSN Store.

I disagree. When epics come out like Halo (hated all 3) they should be more than 8 ho0urs in campaign mode. Especially if they are gonna get a 9.5/10

Halo 1 took me 20 hours on "easy". Halo 2 took 25 hours on "easy". Halo 3 took 9 hours on "easy". And I still play them over and over today.

Halo 2 took you 25 hours? No offense, but you either count the time it took you between every break you took, or you died 10 million times (on easy?)

Don't get me wrong, I like the Halo games (I think they're a bit overrated, but indeed good games), but Halo 2 was short and shouldn't take you more than 12 hours (MAX) if you play on Legendary, take your sweet time and explore everything (though there's not really that much to explore), and die an awful lot.

Realistically, I would guess it should take like 7 hours to beat on Legendary at a normal pace.

If I can do everything there is to do in the game in 8 hours then content is a little short for today's standards. If it's good then I'd rent it.

Consoles games I brought last year: Red Dead Redemption, GT5, Yakuza 3, LBP2(Jan), Uncharted 2, Dark Souls and a few others that I've forgot about.

All of these games have given me 40 hours + of fun things to do for 60 dollars. I'm not going to buy a game with only 8 hours of play time. Biggest example is GoW3. I beat it and didn't feel like ever replying it. In my opinion it's replay value is lacking.

Let me emphasize one point here. Replay value can hurt or save a 8 hour game for me. Heavy Rain was a little short but fun and I replayed it a ton of times.
