Looking to buy my first SSD. Need advice - Page 2

Hmmm seems like the dilemma is do I go with the Crucial SSD that has Read 355MB/s, Write 70MB/s or a Corsair Force Series SSD Read 285MB/s, Write 275MB/s. I'm thinking maybe the Crucial as I'm not going to be installing a bunch of stuff on this SSD and then a higher read speed would be better right?

im not sure whether you could acheive the max read speed of that crucial drive anyway using Sata II....might have to look into that first

Good choice. And yes, to reach full potential of C300 you need to plug it in to SATA III port. SATA II spec maxes out at 355MB/s.
